This position will be scheduled to work 7:30 am - 4:00 pm includes working every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays. Position participates in an on call rotation.

Location Information

Saint Therese offers a continuum of care and services available in a person's own home or in one of our four Twin Cities communities: New Hope, Brooklyn Park, Shoreview, and Woodbury.

Rooted in history, Saint Therese of New Hope is our largest community. This care center has 168 skilled nursing beds for long-term and transitional care. In addition, the Residence at Saint Therese of New Hope houses 224 independent apartments and suites for assisted living and memory care.

Responsibilities

Maintains and makes repairs to the facility and equipment in a timely manner. Assists with coordination of maintenance requests and assists Plant Director with preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED desired. Vocational training in related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum two years related experience in a commercial building or health care environment preferred.

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• HVAC certification preferred.
• 2nd Class “C” Boilers License preferred
• Pool Operator certification preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems and carpentry skills.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and exercise appropriate judgment.
• Ability to learn quickly and handle a variety of related or unrelated jobs.
• Ability to perform manual labor, including being able to lifting up to 50 Lbs.
