We are looking for an experienced Plant Manager to strategically plan and oversee the manufacturing and distribution of goods. You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output. We expect you to have an advanced understanding of production procedures. Responsibilities
Main Accountabilities
- Direct and manage plant operations for production and quality of various filters.
- Coordinate plant activities through the planning with departmental leads to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.
- Develop and control work production.
- Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages and salaries.
- Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards.
- Control and minimize labor overtime.
- Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives.
- Incorporates shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel.
- Provides direction, development and leadership to leads.
- Responsible for ensuring a safe work environment with a focus on “Safety First” with no lost-time worker’s comp incidents.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position manages all employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department.
Job Requirements (Qualifications, Skills, Experience, Competencies)
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing plant environment, managing a large staff, including responsibility for hiring, terminating and performance appraisals, P&L and overall production.
- Lean/Six Sigma Experience
- Manufacturing/industry experience required.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed moving mechanical parts including machinery and forklifts. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

The employee is required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
