A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PIZZA COOK

In this position, you are vital to the operations of our restaurant. You cook and prepare a variety of food according to our production guidelines, standardized recipes, and customer specifications. At the start of each shift, you set up your workstation with all the necessary ingredients and equipment. You carefully prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items according to our company standards and timeline. Safety is your number one priority as you use a variety of utensils and equipment, including knives, ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, and more.

When the food is ready, you arrange, garnish, and portion it according to our guidelines. You always adhere to sanitation and food safety policies and procedures as you prepare, cook, serve, and store food. Attentive to detail, you thoroughly clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils between uses. Your job puts "food first", but you do interact with customers as needed. When necessary, you provide excellent customer service to our guests. You always have a positive attitude as you work with customers and co-workers alike. You love cooking and take pride in the part you play in the satisfaction of our customers!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PIZZA COOK

• 18+ years of age
• Current food handler's permit
• Experience in a related role
• Knowledge about basic food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety
• Customer service skills

This food service position can be full-time or part-time. Typical shifts are between the hours of 11 AM - 9 PM, Sunday - Thursday, and between 11 AM - 10 PM on Fridays and Saturdays.
