Physics Bus Teacher 10 Months - Readvertisement
This is a grant-funded position for a 10-month teacher who will provide instruction to 4th and 5th grade students on the SCPS Physics Bus.
We are searching for a dynamic and knowledgeable science instructor to inspire students in an innovative, mobile learning environment while teaching standards-aligned physics concepts. The SCPS Physics Bus, a renovated school bus, will be fully outfitted with all of the necessary equipment, supplies, and curriculum. A bus driver will handle transportation of the bus to its location each day.
It is anticipated that there will also be extended contract opportunities for the instructor to staff the Physics Bus at various community events throughout the year.
