Job Description:
We are currently seeking qualified Physical Therapist Assistants for In-Home Therapy, who work under the general supervision of physical therapists to assist patients in reaching their treatment goals. May use appropriate therapeutic procedures, therapeutic exercises and therapeutic modalities while providing patient education as directed and supervised by a licensed Physical Therapist. May advise a patient's treatment plan as appropriate and in accordance with New York states law. Follow up on patient's health by interviewing the patient, obtaining, updating, and studying therapy histories. Document patient care services by charting in patients and department records. Perform therapeutic procedures by administering manual exercises, such as non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily living activities; and in using supportive devices, such as crutches, canes and prostheses. Must have valid New York State PTA license. Liability insurance. Completes appropriate paperwork as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an approved Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Must have New York State registration.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Demonstrates good body mechanics and mobility/strength to work with patients

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
