Capital Regional Pharmacy Services is looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team in our Colonie location. The Pharmacy Technician will perform functions related to the pharmacy operations. This role requires professional judgment and caring attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of medication to patients.
• Ensuring that medications are accurately labeled, packaged, and delivered to the patient in a timely manner
• Ensure prescription orders are accurately entered in the pharmacy computer system
• Maintaining accurate patient records, including medication lists and prescription history
• Assisting with inventory management and ordering of medication supplies
• Working closely with the pharmacist and carry out any tato provide patient-centered care and ensure that all patient needs are met
• Carry out tasks assigned by the pharmacist

Qualifications:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred by not required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy
• High school diploma or GED certificate
