Optum Specialists is currently seeking a Full-Time Pharmacist to work a 6 month contract with possibility of extension or offer of employment, and provide services at a State Prison in SACRAMENTO, CA.

Rate: $65 per hour
Days & Shifts:
- Sunday-Thursday 11:30PM - 8:00AM
- Friday - Tuesday 11:30PM - 8:00AM
- Monday - Friday 11:30PM - 8:00AM
Locations: SACRAMENTO, CA
Responsibilities:
- Review and verify prescription/medication order(s) from the Pharmacist-in-Charge
- Pharmacists dispense prescription medications to patients and offer expertise in the safe use of prescriptions
- They also may conduct health and wellness screenings, provide immunizations, oversee the medications given to patients, and provide advice on healthy lifestyles.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 1 year of Pharmacy experience
- Pharmacy License, issued by the State of California, Board of Pharmacy
