Job description
Servicing, retaining and rounding of Personal Insurance accounts, according to agency procedures and standards. Execute sales strategy, initiate contact with existing and potential customers, identify needs and sell appropriate products to meet those needs. Solicit, market and process new and renewal personal lines business. Provide in-house customer service to clients as assigned and requested.
Job Responsibilities
Service
- Ability to handle complex accounts
- Ordering and processing renewal and change requests with an emphasis on Personal Insurance Risk Management
- Prepare review letters on an annual basis, offering recommendations to clients based on analysis of clients’ insurance needs. Provide information to clients using alternative methods of communication, such as email.
Claim
- Assist clients with reporting claims
- Guide clients through the claims process so that they feel supported by Perry & Carroll and not just handed off to the carrier
- Provide clients with more than one alternative, if they ask us for a suggestion of a body repair shop, fire restoration company, etc.
- Follow up on each claim, keeping the client informed at the same time, to make sure the claim is being handled properly.
- Other duties or special projects as requested by management
Retention
- Work to ensure that the agency retention goals are met. Be proactive to retain accounts and follow up on cancellations
- Check new and renewal policies for accuracy in rating, language, coverages, signatures and input these transactions to generate billing invoices. Ensure that these items area delivered and/or mailed to client
- Maintain a suspense system to follow up on outstanding orders, correspondence, reports and follow up on overdue and suspense items.
Skills Required
- Must be detail-oriented and good at multi-tasking
- Must be able to problem solve and work independently as well as within a team
- Must possess superior customer service, organization, and time management skills
- Experience in personal insurance preferred.
- Experience with Applied Epic a plus.
- Property & Casualty license preferred.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
