SPIRE is currently looking to add a Full Time Personal Banker Trainee to our Milaca branch.

SPIRE will provide the training needed to acquire and develop the skills necessary to function successfully as a Personal Banker. The trainee will begin on the teller line to learn SPIRE’s systems and processes, while becoming increasingly involved with building relationships, sales strategies, and reaching personal and companywide goals.

The Personal Banker Trainee role will include a focus on learning technical skills along with products and services in order to better inform members on what products will meet their needs, help answer their questions, and provide problem resolution. In addition, the Trainee will learn how to open accounts and consumer loans.

• COLLABORATE with members to help them identify their financial goals
• EDUCATE members on how to optimize SPIRE’s services to meet their individual needs
• FACILITATE transactions, account opening and lending to improve the financial well-being of members
• CREATE meaningful relationships via excellent service and face to face interaction
• SUPPORT your team by taking initiative to meet SPIRE’s growth objectives
• ENJOY working in a team environment to meet individual and branch goals
• GROW with us by using the tools provided to stay on top of financial industry trends, products, services and training opportunities

Who Are YOU:

• You are passionate about helping others, member centric, and goal driven
• You are comfortable having conversations and making recommendations
• You seek new ways to serve others in your community, are innovative, and thrive on challenges
• You work well with others, even when things don’t go as planned
• You enjoy a fast paced environment and can multi-task
• You have experience working in retail or sales
• You have either an associate’s or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study
• Able to work full time year round
