Title Nine is looking for a full-time People Operations and Systems Specialist to join our team. Reporting into our Human Resources Manager, this position will be responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll, ensuring the on time and accurate completion of regular and ad-hoc reporting, and maintaining our HRIS (ADP). This position is based out of our Emeryville, CA office working onsite Monday thru Thursday with the ability to work remotely on Fridays.
Job Responsibilities:

Process full cycle bi-weekly payroll, validating accuracy of timesheets, personnel record updates, direct deposit, wage garnishments, payroll deductions, tax withholdings, paid time off, etc.

Support Human Resources Manager to ensure smooth HRIS operations throughout the employee life-cycle, including the administration of Onboarding, Offboarding and Personnel Actions

Maintain Title Nine’s HRIS (ADP) to ensure data in system is trusted and accurate; serve as main point of contact for payroll and HRIS related inquiries from employees. Stay up-to-date on ADP upgrades, feature enhancements, and notifications regarding payroll or system related issues

Administer new-hire Onboarding and Offboarding in ADP; support Managers throughout the organization to ensure timely and thorough completion of relevant documentation

Follow HR Ops Calendar to ensure on-time completion of critical People Ops milestones and deadlines

Partner with Accounting to ensure payroll compliance with local, various state, and federal laws & regulations and local payroll tax filings; review and reconcile year-end payroll reporting

Compile annual compensation data reports for Form 5500 audit, 401k match validation, benefits census, compensation survey and other annual pay-related reports

Respond to external pay-related request forms including verification of employment, State disability and unemployment, garnishments, etc.

Support benefits administration and annual open enrollment process
Skills & Experiences:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, accounting or finance; or equivalent work experience

2+ years experience in payroll processing/administration and/or general accounting

Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred; must have experience working in HRIS/payroll processing systems

Excellent computer skills with strong proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel) and/or Google Suite (Docs/Sheets)

Must be ethical, trustworthy, professional, able to maintain confidentiality, and a team player

Excellent organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail; ability to perform tasks accurately and consistently deliver work on time
