People & Culture Manager, Recruitment

Reports To: Director of People & Culture

Salary Expectation: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00

Success awaits a hands-on, personable, motivated and professional People + Culture Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is an experienced, high-energy and empowered individual who will proactively provide constant support to the Director of People + Culture.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for full cycle recruiting – From identifying hiring needs and posting positions to onboarding new hires.
• Ensure all hiring and recruitment processes comply with all local, state, and federal laws and company policies and standards
• Create and maintain employment files in our Human Resources Information Systems
• Respond to unemployment claims
• Monitor employee injury reports, file + track Worker’s Compensation claims
• Assist with employee events + recognition
• Actively participate in The William Vale’s Safety Plan and energy improvements
• Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings
• Perform other duties as requested by management

SKILLS/GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Reliable and have a sense of urgency with email communications and follow up.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with others.
• Encourage synergy and teamwork among the team.
• Outstanding organizational and time management processes.
• Exhibits a high level of professionalism in all interactions/situations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required/PHR or SPHR certified preferred
• Minimum of (2) years’ experience actively serving in human resource management in a hotel/resort environment
• Required proficiency, knowledge, and experience in all HR process: selection & employment, employee relations, compensation, benefits administration, employment law, workers compensation and talent management
• Experience in ADP Workforce Now is a plus
