Pediatric Nutrition Support Specialist
Location – New York City, NY
Bring your experience to the pediatric clinical nutrition team at NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital. Here, you will work with a dynamic team and a diverse patient population. This position will focus on providing nutrition care for our pediatric intestinal failure/ short gut syndrome patients on our Pediatric GI team, as part of the intestinal rehabilitation program. This position also provides coverage for inpatient pediatric parenteral nutrition patients on the pediatric GI service, as well as outpatient nutrition clinic and associated nutrition clinic duties. Responsibilities include:
- Recommending parenteral and enteral nutrition regimens for optimal patient care
- Recommending nutrition interventions for all other assigned patients
- Precepting dietetic interns and education of staff
- Participating in projects and research
- Strong interdisciplinary collaboration

Required Criteria:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian (RD)
- NYS Certification as a Dietitian/ Nutritionist (CDN)
- Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- Minimum of a Baccalaureate Degree granted by a U.S. regionally accredited college/university or foreign equivalent
- Completion of an ACEND accredited/approved Supervised Practice Program in Dietetics
Preferred Criteria:
- Experience in clinical pediatric nutrition
- Experience with pediatric nutrition support (parenteral & enteral nutrition)
- Certified Specialist in Nutrition Support, Pediatric Nutrition, or Pediatric Critical Care (CNSC, CSP, CSP-CC)
- Master’s Degree
