Job Description
PRN - Temporary Monday - Friday Days No Weekends! Transports patients to and from wheelchair and other areas. Other responsibilities as assigned. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor. No experience necessary. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Education and Formal Training Required:
Must be able to read and write simple sentence in order to maintain logs.
Must be able to comprehend simple medical terminology.
Must be able to input data into computer.
Experience Required:
Prior patient care experience is preferred.
Other:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk 95% of the workday.
Must be able to push an occupied wheelchair up an incline multiple times daily.
Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
Must be or become certified in CPR and remain current.
