Tanner Clinic has an opening for a Patient Experience Supervisor.
Location: Layton, Utah
Hours: Monday-Friday
Duties:
- Direct supervision of Patient Advocates and Clinic Greeters
- Oversee the patient experience of the clinic in relation to patient advocacy and satisfaction
- Within given administrative authority, act to ensure patient concerns and complaints are being resolved by the patient advocate through coordination of efforts of directors, supervisors and their staff
- Serve as a secondary patient advocate for patient concerns when the situation requires more assistance than what a clinic leader or patient advocate can provide.
- Generates target-specific patient surveys and manages their outflow along with statistical analysis and reporting to leadership and Board of results
- Gather information and prepare reports to share with leadership and physicians related to patient complaints and overall patient experience the clinic receives through surveys and google reviews
- Oversee training and education of all clinic staff in patient experience and customer service skills
- Lead process improvement projects and objectives as related to patient experience in conjunction with other clinic leadership that pertain to the project and processes.
- Ensure there is an effective and patient friendly process for translation and interpretation for any patients that are non-English speakers
- Other duties and administrative projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in business, health administration or other related fields
- 3 years of experience in a health care environment preferred
- Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff.
- Must be capable of handling multiple tasks at a time effectively and able to maintain a professional demeanor during stressful situations.
- Demonstrate compassion and understanding for the patient and caring parties.
- Possess pleasant and effective written, verbal, and telephone communication skills.
- Must understand process improvement strategies
- Must be able to influence teamwork and unity among a diverse group of positions
