Medix is hiring for Patient Access Reps in the South County (63128) area!
Location: South County MO
Hours: Full time
- 7a-330p with rotating weekends/holidays
- 3p-1130p with rotating weekends/holidays
Requirements: High School Diploma, COVID vaccine
Pay: $15/hr
Job Outline:
- With competency and compassion, this position helps patients understand their insurance benefits and educate them on their financial responsibilities.
- They are able to discuss payment options and assistance, as necessary
- Duties may include scheduling, registration, benefit verification, pre-certification and financial clearance including pre-visit collection.
- The Patient Registration team member will be responsible for ensuring that the most accurate patient data is obtained and populated into the patient record.
