Boomerang Moving & Storage formed in 2008, is located right next to Comfort Bagel at Open Square in Holyoke. We are a unique moving and storage company that serves students at colleges and preparatory schools in three states. As students are getting ready to move out of school, we provide door-to-door storage and shipping services helping thousands of students to move out and store their belongings over the summer. In August and September we move all their belongings back to them at school.

We are a fun, energetic, and positive team that thrives on being efficient and versatile. We have a position open for an Office Administrator and are looking to hire immediately. This is a temporary job which begins ASAP and will last until early September.

Employment Dates:

• Temporary: Now to early September

• 20-25 hours

• Hours: 9am-5pm. We need help over a mix of weekdays and weekends.

Job details:

• Customer support (Answering phones, emails, chat)

• Handling accounts payables / accounts receivables

• Processing customer orders / sales

• Assisting with planning and creating daily pickup, delivery, and shipping manifests

• General administrative duties

• Opening and closing of office

• Some packing and shipping related work of student belongings in our warehouse.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Friendly and customer oriented with exceptional customer service presence

• Communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing

• Must be skilled with Excel/Word, Google Suite.

• Strong work ethic

• Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus- If not, we’ll train you

• Knowledge of basic website back end functions a plus- If not, we’ll train you

• Advanced computer literacy is a plus but not required

• Able to work effectively on a team or alone

• Ability to effectively multitask in a fast paced office environment
