    We are seeking a LPN to support our Medical Oncology team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? Job Summary and Qualifications

    As an LPN in our Medical Unit you will work as a Team with a RN to provide high quality patient care on our newly remodeled high acuity 39 bed unit. You will work to provide patients with an individualized care plan through assessment and planning. Our team supports each other like family and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role:

    • You will provide assessment and planning for individualized patient care.
    • You will respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
    • You will provide care for the patient in collaboration with the patient/family, with regard to developmental, cultural and age specific differences, develops and implements patient care plans to include problems, goals, evaluations and interventions.
    • You will communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient’s clinical condition and results of diagnostic studies.
    • You will perform nursing duties as needed in the continuum of care for all patients.
    • You will participate in process improvement efforts and activities for the department.
    • You will act in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure.
What qualifications you will need:
    • Current State of Idaho Licensed Practical Nurse License.
    • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification within 7 days of hire (Offered in new hire orientation)
    • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and certification (Offered in new hire orientation).
    • Graduate of a school of nursing.

    What work schedules you may work:

    Nights (7 p.m. - 7 a.m.) with rotating weekends and holidays


    • Work schedule availability dependent upon current staffing.
    • Preference may be given to candidates that can work either work schedule if needed due to staffing in a 24/7 hospital environment.
    • Schedules are typically posted 4 weeks in advance.
    • Shift Differentials are available for Night Shift and Weekends
    • Wait list for Day Shift positions are typical with each unit having different guesstimated time lines but positions may be open now.
