This position is responsible for performing all functions of sanding and painting more complex or larger units.

• Checking all units for paint issues.
• Stenciling Units.
• Sanding and Painting.
• Use orbital sander to sand units and correct any deficiencies.
• Prepare surface for paint using appropriate hand tools.
• Feel surface of sanded area and visually inspect to verify quality of finished units.
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures.
• Checking customer specifications, keeping all stickers leveled.
• Ability to demonstrate proper safety protocol when using tools and working in the area.
• Ability to demonstrate accuracy when performing final quality check before unit moves on to the next station.
• Ability to follow work order.
• Insists on safety as job 1.
• All other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of paint experience preferred.
• Experience with hand tools.
• Must be able to wear a respirator and proper PPE.
• Cooperative attitude towards all internal and external customers.
• Help team members resolve questions and help with the work load.
• A dependable and strong work ethic.
• Professional language and conduct at all times.
• Ability to learn other areas sufficient to fill in where required.
