Amerilab Technologies, Inc. is a leading US manufacturer in the development, manufacturing, and packaging of effervescent tablets, and effervescent and non-effervescent powders in stick packs and sachets, and we are currently seeking skilled and experienced Packaging Operator to join our team.

Monday to Thursday, 4:20 pm to 2:50 am

As a Packaging Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our state-of-the-art production equipment, including tablet presses, encapsulation machines, and packaging lines. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our production processes run smoothly and meet our high standards of quality and efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Take wrapped product off wrapper line, count, and place correct number into cartons.
• Place cartons (or wrapped product) into cases and seal cases using a case sealing machine.
• Lift and place finished cases on to designated pallet.
• Prepare cartons and cases for use; folding and/or marking as needed.
• Observe product and machine operation to detect defects or machine malfunction during production run.
• Ensure that all aspects of packaging are consistent and uniform with GMPs and company SOPs.
• Clean and organize area. Maintain cleanliness of machine work area and keep work area organized, including the removal of waste material from work area to 5S Standards.
• Determine and inform Lead when product or wrapping operation is not meeting specifications.
• Equipment and tools used: Packaging machines, pallet, pallet jack, box cutter, scale, conveyor belt, shrink wrap, bot taper machine, and calculator.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Ability to communicate effectively with personnel on all levels.
• Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out interactions furnished in written or oral form.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time when deadlines need to be met.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk throughout the building. The employee is frequently required to reach and perform routine tasks with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee may be required to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 100 pounds on occasion. . Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
