ResourceMFG is seeking immediate packaging associates for a food company in Kent.

Monday – Friday | 9:30pm-6:00am | $18.50/hr | Temp-to-hire

**Associates must train on 1st or 2nd shift for the first 4-6 weeks**

Job Summary: Ensures product is packed and stored properly for transportation and delivery. Performs shutdown and Sanitation on assigned line each week.

Essential Functions:

• Stack product on conveyor line while monitoring the product flow and quality as well as recording product count.
• Remove product from conveyor line and stack in assembled box.
• Monitor the conveyor line from the freezer down the slide while performing quality checks on products.
• Monitors Metal Detector for the “Metal Detection Step” (includes observations and/or measurements) to assess whether the critical control point (CCP) is being met for HarpC.
• Stack loaded boxes on pallet for further transport.
• Push boxes loaded with products through taping machine.
• Operate cartoner and offbeat loaded boxes and stack for shipment.
• Loads finished boxes onto incline conveyor.
• Change the codes on taper, hand stamp and cartoner.
• Understand and follow Safety, Food Safety (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards always.
• Trained and validated to clean and sanitize workstation equipment (IE. cookers, depositors, conveyors, floors, walls, etc.) according to PPE requirements.
