Responsible for the transportation of cattle from one area to another. Perform and maintain records of cattle inventory and location, identify and perform minor treatments of sick animals, maintain records of treatments, animals sold, and maintain inventory of medicines and supplies needed.

• Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.

• Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.
• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.
• Count cattle for inventory head count. Maintain records of deceases, sold, and moved cows. Process cattle for sale.
• Keep and maintain accurate records of all daily activities for maternity fresh cow and hospital, and provide reports to Dairy office for computer entry.
• Coordinate and communicate cattle movements with Breeders, Feeders, and Milkers.
• Observe animals to detect signs of injury and illness. Provide treatments for minor injuries ailments. Consult with Lead or Manager for treatment of serious injuries and illness.
• Ability to understand and follow treatment procedures.
• Majority of work is outdoor with some exposure to extreme weather conditions.
