Summary:
This position is s primarily responsible for customers by selling products and meeting the needs of the customer.
** This is for the most part a remote position for sales in Minnesota, Wisconsin, South Dakota, North Dakota*
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
§ Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing and potential accounts
§ Create or adjust sales presentation materials based on customers related market
§ Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume customers
§ Submits orders by referring to current market levels
§ Keeps management informed by submitting activity reports, results, and receipts through workflow in Synergy
§ Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandizing techniques, etc.
§ Ability to get prospect and current customers to understand changes in products, services and policies to assist their supply chain
§ Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management
§ Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
§ Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales
§ Contributes to team effort by accomplishing individual results as needed
§ Attending or staffing sales association events
§ Perform other related duties as required or needed
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
College Degree in Marketing/Sales or work experience and/or training.
1-3 years previous experience
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
The training requirements include company, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements up to and including federal, state and local laws pertinent to job.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Strong product knowledge and marketing research
- Ability to work independently with good organization and under pressure.
- Must have good phone skills and speak effectively before group/customers.
- Ability to interact with co-workers and with the general public showing courtesy, discretion, and sound judgement
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
- Able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
- Knowledgeable of the ISO 9001-2015 preferred, but not required
- Food Safety Certification(FSSC) 22000:2018 preferred, but not required
- Work with tools and supplies necessary to complete projects
- Prior factory experience preferred, but not required
- Must have reliable transportation.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
