Yandy.com is an e-commerce retailer for lingerie, consumer goods, and apparel. We have a 44,000 square foot fulfillment center in Phoenix, AZ. The facility currently operates 1 shift, 5 days per week. During peak season the facility will operate 2 shifts, 7 days per week.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Outbound Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of all outbound activities while leading a team of approximately 25 associates, or 50+ during our peak season. They are primarily tasked with meeting and exceeding our customer service level agreements and expectations. This role is responsible for ensuring orders are filled with speed and accuracy. The Outbound Supervisor is a primary driver for creating a culture of excellence, team collaboration, and employee safety.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Tracks and achieves all outbound key performance indicators.
- Supervises all outbound operations and procedures including picking, replenishment, sorting, packing, and shipping.
- Schedules and assigns tasks for order allocation.
- Ensures that outstanding orders are fulfilled in a timely manner and communicates outliers to customer service.
- Responsible for managing outbound teams within budget; analyzes resource productivity and plans accordingly.
- Processes and verifies product accuracy (UPCs)
- Works closely with Inbound Supervisor and Customer Service Manager to report any discrepancies in inventory and order flow.
- Supports yearly physical inventory processes
- Develops processes, mentors and trains team members to achieve goals
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment
- Adheres to all safety processes and procedures
Required Education and Experience
- College degree preferred or 5+ years of experience as a warehouse supervisor with team management responsibilities
- Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions, and use simple math
- Experience with WMS and ERP functions required. Use of Solochain, NetSuite, or other Tier 1 platforms preferred.
- Familiarity with software programs (MS Office, Google Workspace) preferred
- Must pass background/drug screen prior to hire
- Ability to work independently and have core problem solving skills
- Must be detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy
- Ability to be a team player and meet deadlines
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, stand/walk for up to 8 hours a day and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Forklift certification a plus

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
