We're seeking an experienced Orthodontic Assistant to join our Yonkers, NY practice on a part-time schedule. In this role, you'll support the Orthodontist by ensuring patients receive quality dental care and a great patient experience. Location:
35 East Grassy Sprain Road
Yonkers, New York 10710
Part-time Schedule:
1-2 days, 8AM – 5PM Monday - Saturday
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining accurate records of patients' oral health histories and treatment progress
- Ensuring that all orthodontic instruments and equipment are properly sterilized before each use
- Taking Panoramic and Cephalometric X-Rays
- Aiding the Orthodontist during procedures, including preparation and documentation
- Educating patients on their treatment plans and oral hygiene
- Assisting with orthodontic procedures and tasks
Requirements:
- 2 or more years of experience as an Orthodontic Dental Assistant
- DANB certification preferred
- High School or GED Required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- CPR certification
