Gold Medal is the world leader in the manufacture and distribution of concession equipment and related food products. We have enjoyed continual success and growth during our 90 years in business. We are excited to announce a Business Analyst opportunity available at our Chicago branch office.

The Business Analyst will be based in Chicago but will be responsible for supporting Gold Medal's 15 branch locations across the US. They will be a self-starter, business-savvy, and energized by data analytics. They will be capable of evaluating data, identifying trends/changes, and making recommendations that drive business improvements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Produce financial and business reports and provide analysis in support of Branch Operations / Managers - ultimately provide recommendations to make improvements
• Serve as Salesforce administrator, including providing training to others
• Monitor and measure existing systems and further evaluate the effectiveness of policies
• Assist in the development of SOPs that will continue to strengthen and improve branch efficiencies
• Perform accounting functions including audit, cycle counting, year end inventories, closing procedures, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated success in a business analyst role required
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study preferred
• Proven ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong financial, analytical and process development skills
• Ability to communicate professionally, effectively and efficiently in person, on the phone, via email, and in all correspondences
• Advanced computer skills including but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel required (especially Excel)
• Salesforce software experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and a high energy level necessary for fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work with a diverse workforce and customer base
