Responsibilities
PMC is looking for a
per diem, day shift Operating Room Tech who is empathetic and has good communication skills. We have a collaborative culture focused on positive outcomes, opportunities for professional growth and so much more. Our OR/Surg Tech duties include but are not limited to:
- responsible for the preparation of sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned procedure
- maintaining sterile field during case
- providing surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments during assigned procedures
- able to work well under stressful and emergency situations
- able to act quickly and accurately
Qualifications
Education and Work Experience
- graduate of an ORT training program, or 3 years’ on the job training or experience
- experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in the generalized surgical specialties, (i.e., GYN, General and Plastics)
- experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in the specialty surgical areas (i.e., ortho, neuro, ENT, Urology, etc.).
- current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
