Garlyn Shelton Auto Group is looking to hire a motivated, detail oriented, and goal driven individual to add to our BDC/Internet Sales Team. BDC/Internet Sales Representatives are responsible for handling all incoming Internet leads and incoming sales phone calls. Also, this individual will focus on making outbound phone calls to make contact with the customer, communicate effectively with the customer, and set appointments.

Due to the recent explosion of Internet marketing, mobile smartphones, and handheld computer devices, the BDC has truly become a necessary part of the Auto Industry.
This is not telemarketing, there is no cold calling required, nor is it car sales; we have a separate sales team that sells cars. You will interact daily with Sales Associates, Sales Managers, the BDC/Internet Manager, the Service BDC Manager, and the Service BDC Agents.
Job Responsibilities
- Answer inbound sales phone calls
- Handle all incoming Internet Leads via phone, email, AND text
- Respond to all inquiries professionally and promptly
- No prepared to make 50+ outbound phone calls per day
- Determine customer's primary concern and schedule the necessary appointment
- Follow-up via phone, email, and text until the client is ready to make an appointment
- Utilize CRM Daily
- Check emails frequently and respond in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of evolving products, services, and the needs of the dealership
Job Qualifications
- Previous inbound/outbound customer service, call center, or sales experience a plus
- Available to work flexible hours and every other weekend
- Superior customer service and follow-up skills
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and team-oriented
- Self-starter mentality and ambitious
- Professional, well-groomed appearance
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
