So, What Will I Be Doing?

As a Choice Therapy Office Assistant, job responsibilities include:

- Answer telephones and greet all patients

- Schedule patients according to the therapist’s request

- Prepare paperwork and complete patient registration

- Insurance Verifications

- Out of network insurance referrals

- Obtain prior authorizations and pre-certifications

- Update, prepare and obtain paperwork for pre-work screens

- Collect patient payments and co-pays

- Medical records requests and release of information

- May run/create various reports

- Scan and update signed plans of care

- Follow and maintain HIPAA regulations

- Maintain neat and professional front desk and reception area

- Maintain patient confidentiality

- Manage paperwork

- Copy, fax and scan all necessary documentation and shred after usage
