POSITION IS AVAILABLE AT EITHER THE BEAVER, SEWICKLEY OR KENNEDY TWP LOCATIONS

Department: Occupational Therapy, Work Hours: As needed, must work 3 weekend shifts/month to be eligible for premium weekend shift rate of $44.00/hour

This position exists to provide professional services for persons whose function is impaired by physical illness or injury, emotional disorder, congenital or developmental disability or as a result of the aging process in accordance with the patient care mission of the organization.

Requirements: The Occupational Therapist must have a Bachelor or Master degree in Occupational Therapy. Hold or be eligible for PA State licensure as an Occupational Therapist and have Act 33 clearance. The Occupational Therapist must have successful completion of Acts 73 and/or 169 clearances within 90 days of commencing employment, if applicable.

Preferred: Must be enthusiastic and have patience in working with a variety of personalities and disease entities. Must be able to work cooperatively with department personnel and health care team members. Must be able to motivate a patient to perform maximally. Must be courteous and treat all patients with respect and dignity. Must care for patients as individuals by seeking out and responding to their personal needs, problems, and concerns. Must conscientiously maintain patient confidentiality.
