Greenwich Woods Rehabilitation seeks a full-time staffing scheduler for 32 hours per week

Greenwich Woods is a 217-bed long term/short term rehabilitation facility that has been serving the Westchester and Fairfield Counties for more than 30 years. Our facility is conveniently located on the border of Rye Brook NY, with easy access to the Hutchinson/Merritt Parkways and I-684.

Responsibilities

• Generate, manage and update master schedules while making adjustments as needed in accordance with budgetary constraints, census fluctuations, call outs and leaves of absences
• Schedule staffing vacancies in advance to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts
• Communicate with Nursing Administration regarding orientation scheduling for newly hired employees in the nursing department
• Track time clock punch records against master schedules and note the appropriate changes
• Utilize SmartLinx computer software program to prepare, change and update the master schedule
• Track Open Positions for Recruitment

Qualifications

• Must have a working knowledge of SmartLinx scheduling software
• Must demonstrate a commitment to customer service excellence in all interactions with the clinical team
• Flexible with last minute changes and the ability to troubleshoot scheduling conflicts
• Identify and prioritize tasks involved in the day to day scheduling of licensed staff
• Capable of using sound business decisions, diplomacy and discretion when managing the needs of individual staff members
• Demonstrate cooperation in assisting others, with a willingness to work as a team member

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
