Our Boutique Practice is seeking a Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant or Registered Nurse First Assist to join our growing team. Experienced candidates are preferred, but we are willing to put in the time and effort to train the candidate who has a passion to work among a strong team in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery industry. This position will work directly with Margo Herron, MD, Plastic Surgeon; assisting in the Operating Room, seeing patients pre/post surgery and performing in-office treatments such as: skin cancers biopsies, cosmetic treatments, benign lesion removals, aesthetic injections/treatments and other small procedures. Our practice has been growing annually between 10-50%. We have some of the best clients/patients in the world and they are always showing us appreciation that is both rewarding and fulfilling.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Plastic Surgeon in larger cosmetic and reconstructive surgery cases at our multispecialty Ambulatory Surgery Center and local hospitals.
  • Perform small in-office procedures.
  • Participate in preoperative history/physical appointments.
  • Participated in postoperative surgical appointments.
  • Perform dermatological procedures and treatments.
  • Effective and efficiently document and work with a highly utilized EMR system.
  • 1-2 days a week assist in the Operating Room, 1-2 days a week work in clinic and 1-2 days a week perform cosmetic treatments and small in-office procedures.
  • Share clinic on-call duties.
  • 1-2 days a month travel to local hospitals to assist Plastic Surgeon.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members of various specializations and projects.

Skills

  • Capacity to learn from the Plastic Surgeon on how to perform treatments and procedures according to out high quality standards.
  • Work well with the team.
  • Knowledge of medical guidelines and procedures regarding examination, treatments and recovery.
  • Familiarity with advancements in medical technology and current know-how.
  • Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Caring and compassionate.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Licensed in Oregon.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $105,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
