A reputable hospital in Maryland is actively seeking a Nurse Director Women and Children Services to join their team.

The Nurse Director Women and Children Services will be a full-time employee, working at a 300-bed acute care hospital. This highly accredited, teaching hospital is known for providing an array of inpatient and outpatient services and ongoing research. The Nurse Director Women and Children Services will oversee an 18-bed Med/Surg unit, 32-bed Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum LDRP unit, pediatric unit, and Special Care Nursery with over 200 FTEs. The Nurse Director Women and Children Services will have both administrative and clinical responsibilities, which includes managing department budgets, developing short and long term strategic growth plans, implementing quality performance improvement initiatives, updating policy procedures, preparing all accreditation and survey material, assisting with creating educational programming opportunities, and cross collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

The Nurse Director Women and Children Services must be a seasoned nurse holding an active RN license and previous management experience with a clinical background in Labor Delivery, Mother Baby, or an LDR/LDRP unit.
