Department Overview:
The OHSU Center for Regenerative Medicine is looking for a student worker who is interested in gaining research laboratory experience. The OHSU Center for Regenerative Medicine investigates the use of cell therapeutics and novel biomaterials for the treatment of diseases and injuries. The Center also develops point of care medical imaging to bring cutting edge therapies and treatments into the hands of physicians and their patients.
Function/Duties of Position:
Under direct supervision, the student worker will perform the following basic research and lab activities:
  • Annotating ultrasound images
  • Compiling and managing data sets
  • Assisting in coordination of data from multiple clinical sites
  • Observe research clinical trial visits
  • Data entry from research related clinic visits
  • Assisting with laboratory experiments
Required Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate Program (minimum 6 credit hours)
  • Completion of general science courses
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Undergraduates pursuing science majors preferred.
  • Basic laboratory skills.
  • Completion of an Anatomy and Physiology class.
