Job description
The R.F. Fager Company Family Owned business for over 60 years, we are the leading Central PA Plumbing & Heating Wholesaler and offer a long term opportunity in our busy Distribution Center and Branch Delivery Department. We have a family friendly environment, you are home every night and no weekend work is required.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a non-CDL Commercial Motor Vehicle (26' Box Truck)
- Deliver and unload product in a safe and courteous manner
- Strengthen and develop relationships with customers, you are the face of our Company
- Effectively meet customer demands with a sense of urgency
- Operational performance in the following areas: DOT regulations, health and safety, vehicle care, inspection and maintenance, work standards, procedures and policies, and customer satisfaction
- Loading and unloading of delivery trucks – requires physical moving/lifting of product weighing up to 50 pounds
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver in a 26' Box Truck, and willingness to obtain/maintain a DOT Medical Card
- Excellent oral communication skills, ability to work independently and self-motivated
- Accuracy and attention to detail are a must
- Excellent customer service skills and time-management skills
- Demonstrated safe driving record
Salary: $20.00 per hour
