Night Cook
Report to: Executive Chef

Job Summary:
Responsible for knowing all dinner stations and recipes.
-Expected to work with a high degree of professionalism, even under pressure.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team while holding culinary standards with a conscientious attention to detail.
-Responsible for cleanliness and prep of dinner service as well as traditional end of day closing responsibilities.
-Scratch cooking and knowledge of traditional southern fare a plus.
Essential Functions:
1. Gather supplies and small wares needed to prepare food.
2. Prepare all food using standard Club recipes in accordance with Club standards.
3. Prepare meats, seafood, vegetables and other items required for a la carte and special function purposes.
4. Ensure that food products are used on a timely basis.
5. Set up, maintain and break down cook station.
6. Keeps station and cooking equipment clean.
7. Prepare or assist in preparing employee meals.
8. Properly wrap, label, date and neatly store re-usable leftover product.
9. Return soiled food preparation utensils and other small wares to the proper areas.
10. Clean work station.
11. Ensure that the storage room is neat and that all products are stored properly.
12. Ensure floors are dry and clean at all times.
13. Understand and follow proper sanitation practices including those for personal hygiene.
14. Adhere to all state and local health and safety regulations.
15. Collect and remove trash from all areas of the operation following established procedures.
16. Ensure the waste bin area is kept clean and tidy.
17. Clean and sanitizes dishes and related service ware following established procedures.
18. Clean large equipment as assigned, following established procedures.
19. Always maintain a clean and safe work environment.
17. Perform other appropriate tasks as assigned by the Executive Chef.
Qualifications (required unless stated otherwise):
· Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
· Prioritize and works efficiently with limited supervision.
· Professional presentation at all times.
· Communicate effectively.
· Positive attitude.
· Team player with the ability to work well with other team members in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
