Our team is adding a New Business Development Manager role to focus on our aftermarket business. It's a role for a true hunter with a strong business development background who is able to strategically approach the business and form new relationships. The position will ideate opportunities, find sources for them, manage the business case, and deliver on them. The role will be based out of our corporate headquarters in Wauwatosa and work out of the office three days per week, with the opportunity to be remote two days per week.

Position Description

Plans, develops and identifies new business opportunities to build or expand profitable sales of applicable products in aftermarket areas. Defines, plans and executes short and long term strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, negotiates and closes business deals. Maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements and maintains a business plan to prospect new clients in conjunction with sales and marketing
  • Creates and presents sales and marketing programs that cultivate opportunities and secures orders
  • Collects, analyzes and compares pertinent data from target markets and makes proposals/recommendations to key stakeholders
  • Interfaces with leaders and support personnel in sales and marketing to implement company sales programs
  • Develops and achieves a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Controls selling costs through effective management and expense control
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Job Skills Requirements

  • Proven ability to develop new business plans
  • Ability to analyze sales trends to identify alternatives that will maximize sales opportunities
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse groups of people
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and organize multiple projects and business demands
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent education and experience

Experience Requirements

  • Five years sales and/or customer service experience
  • Strong business development background
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
