Job Description:

The NCDHHS Infrastructure LAN\Server SME is a senior level resource with specialized knowledge and experience in a the architectural design and implementation of new LAN\Server Infrastructure construction in a new campus construction project.

Able to work without assistance; can provide leadership to others; able to manage highly complex work efforts; may have advanced education; may have extensive industry experience.

Description (including, but not limited to):
1. Technical expertise centered around LAN/Server design, implementation, and architecture for an enterprise environment.
2. Specialization in LAN\Server environment for new building construction
3. Successful development and maintenance of formal strategies, sourcing guidance, technical standards, blueprints, reference architectures, architecture patterns and technology roadmaps for a given LAN\Server domain
4. Successful completion of technology projects within area of LAN\Server implementations.
5. Definition and management of team structure and resource levels to support business needs Server environment
6. Conducting industry and market research of technologies and general themes in assigned architecture areas.
7. Engaging agency subject matter experts, business liaisons, and DIT representatives as to ensure proper alignment between business and IT within LAN\Server discipline.
8. Must be able to work independently and as a part of a team to accomplish design and implementation objectives for new infrastructure environments.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $50.52 - $80.00 per hour
