Primary Tasks:

Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.

Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Build productive internal/external working relationships.

Normally receive general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.

Do troubleshooting to resolve low level network connectivity (like end user IP, switch port settings, confirm IP connectivity)

Perform changes under the supervision of a higher Network Engineer and follow directions

Configure network security (Firewalls, IDS, IPS, and configuration settings) devices by following directions

Configure IP addresses on switches and routers

Troubleshoot using OSI layer 1 to 3.

Set Host/desktop network configurations.

Perform other tasks as may be assigned.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

MINIMUM

Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years of equivalent work experience in related field.

Cisco CCNA

2 years Professional Experience with Cisco switches or routers

You will be reporting to the Network Operations Supervisor.
