Job Description

Our growing Software Development Team is seeking an experienced .NET Web Developer to join us. As a web application developer, you will work on large and complex client-server, web-based, and multi-tiered software applications on the Microsoft stack. Our software applications are designed to provide small and family-run businesses with greater market visibility, helping them compete with larger chains.

CANDIDATES MUST BE PHYSICALLY LOCATED IN NORTH AMERICA

PLEASE NOTE: In addition to the Required Qualifications below, this position requires 3+ years of professional software development experience, and for the candidate’s current/most recent job to be as a software developer. Candidates who do not meet these criteria will not be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify data-driven web software platforms and applications
• Write and optimize SQL code and integrate with REST APIs
• Work with Git source control and deployment processes
• Develop testable code and work with QA teams on testing
• Learn and adapt to new technologies as required

Qualifications

Required

• 4+ years of progressive experience in developing complex web applications using C# and .NET
• Strong knowledge of C# and .NET Core 3.1 or higher, .NET Framework, Entity Framework
• Experience with software design, software architecture, and programming best practices
• Strong understanding of SQL Server and REST API development
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern client-side JavaScript
• Familiarity with source control with Git and continuous integration tools in Azure DevOps

Preferred

• Experience with Azure application development and administration is a plus
• Experience with CMS and E-commerce platforms is a plus
• Excellent working knowledge of relational databases, preferred
• Familiarity with Bootstrap and JQuery, preferred
• Familiarity with one or more heavyweight Javascript frameworks: React, Vue, preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
