Nerdy Nuts Assistant Kitchen Manager

Nerdy Nuts is a South Dakota family owned small batch peanut butter company. We are the fastest growing CPG company in the US! We are committed to creating a positive and unique customer and employee experience.

Nerdy Nuts is looking for a goal oriented team player who is willing to dive in and lead a team of
20+ employees. We’re looking for an outgoing person with a variety of skills that will lead the kitchen in production goals and track product inventory. This person needs to have excellent time management skills, be very hardworking, organized, and outgoing. Communication and people skills are key to success in this role. Candidates must be capable of handling multiple tasks and problem solving challenges under minimal supervision.The ideal candidate will be capable of overcoming obstacles, leading a team (bringing out the very best in people) and ensuring that product goals are met without sacrificing quality of our hand-made peanut butters. ● Have the ability to collaborate with several people on the same project and handle constructive feedback.
● Have excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, and time management skills.
● Basic computer skills.
● Have a general understanding of kitchen production.
● Be self-confident, self-directed, forward thinking and detail oriented with an enthusiastic and positive attitude.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

● Must be able to lift, carry, and move items up to 50 lbs.
● Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.

LOCATION AND HOURS:

● This position is in Rapid City, SD
● Hours will be 11-7/12-8 and every other weekend

PAY:

● $18 - $22 depending on experience
● This full-time non-exempt position qualifies for a full benefits package that includes paid time off, sick leave, health insurance and a generous employee discount.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
