Hiring a part-time Naturopathic Physician with acupuncture license or endorsement to join a well established and growing cash based clinic in Prescott Valley, AZ. Come enjoy our moderate 4 seasons, lots of opportunity for outdoor activities (hiking, mountain biking, kayaking), and a small town feel with modern amenities. We are looking for a physician to enhance our small team of caring individuals who focus on putting patient care first using nature as our guiding principle. Our core therapeutic interventions can be found in the bottom tier of the Therapeutic Order. We strongly believe in supporting the innate healing capacity found within each individual and therefore Vitalism is a core tenant of our clinic. We are looking for the right doctor to join our team. Details:

· Start date: ASAP

· You will be seeing patients 2-3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, optional Saturday) with the opportunity to work more in the future if you choose to. Towards the end of the summer you will have the opportunity to work more weekdays if you desire. However, we actively promote a healthy work/life balance and will not require full time at any point.

· You will be an independent contractor with a 1-2 year contract.

· Pay is 45% split with the opportunity to increase percentage up to 50%.

· Advertising and support to build your patient base.

· We are a 100% cash based clinic: no insurance company telling you how to practice or chart!

· Monthly massage provided by local massage therapist.

· $300 yearly stipend for continuing education/ training that benefits your position.

Requirements

· Current NMD AZ License and Certificate to Dispense (or ability to obtain one soon)

· Current license to practice acupuncture in Arizona (LAc. or appropriate ND training included in your scope)

· Professional with superior bed-side manner

· Good communication skills must be a key quality or trait

· Possess a positive attitude that will support a healing environment for all

· Ability to project confidence when interacting with patients

· Must have a strong desire to teach patients the “How, What, and Why” of naturopathic medicine and the therapeutics we use

· Excellent working knowledge of medicine to build on

· Must be able to think outside the box when problem solving

· Be open to growth and learning from mistakes

· Team-oriented and have a continual willingness to learn

· Competent computer skills for charting, research, etc.

· Experience with PC computers and Microsoft office programs

· Yearly stipend for continuing education/ training that benefits your job/ position.
