Music Instructors for Special Populations Community is in high demand at LSSM.

Lawrenceville-Suwanee School of Music is a growing, diverse, private music school where well-qualified teachers supply their state-of-the-art skill in PIANO, VOICE, ukulele, violin, guitar, bass guitar, drums flute and more. Students among the special populations group need teachers that are patient, caring and fun. We have over 1200 students presently enrolled. Therefore, you are able to teach students of all levels if qualified; while focusing on meeting the needs of our special populations students. This is an independent contractors position. It is so much fun to have the freedom of setting your own standard and not tied down to paperwork. We simply ask you to teach the student and we do the rest. You have fun doing what you love best and we will take care of all the paperwork for you. cThis job is perfect for certified or non-certified. We are looking for patient, caring instructors who have a heart for this community. You are able to set your schedule to fit your lifestyle.

Certification is not required for this position, but helpful.

We have 2 locations in Suwanee Georgia. (345 Peachtree Industrial Blvd 1101 and

1612 Collins Hill Road, Lawrenceville Georgia 30043

We were awarded the Best of Gwinnett (for best music instructions), 8 years in a row and The Best of Suwanee, for outstanding music instruction. We also received the Reader's Choice Award for Best Music Instruction in Gwinnett County. Our main goal as a private music academy is to inspire, educate and motivate our students to perform at their highest level while instilling confidence and providing a support system between parent, faculty and staff. Love is our greatest model and great musicianship is our goal.

1. If students do not attend, teachers still get paid.

2. Teachers never collect tuition for the Studio.

3. We have an office staff to assist parents.

4. Teachers do not have to give out their contact info to parents. If desired, all communication will go through the office to ensure teacher privacy.

5. We have a full-time marketing person which allows us to be one of the largest growing school in the Lawrenceville-Suwanee area.

6. Our teacher environment is fun, loving and drama free.

7. Our parents are very supportive and thoughtful.

8. Great teaching rooms and clean environment to practice in as well as teach.

We are constantly growing to meet the demand for students of all ages and students in the special population. Our parents are very excited to have their child as a part of our normal day today music education program. Music provides healthy benefits when dealing with mental health and education. We have two music therapist working with us now and would like to bring another caring instructor on board to join us. We offer competitive pay starting at $25.00 to 30.00 per hour in comparison to many other music academies.
