We provide comprehensive community-based services that help people with special needs thrive while realizing and choosing their goals. Through education and advocacy, we provide opportunities, support and integration within our community. Among the programs and services we provide, we are the only agency to offer premier transportation and health care services in Mercer County.
Who We Need:
We are currently looking for a Full Time Community Engagement Manager with a specialization in Music Instruction to join our Team in Mercer County. The hours for this position are Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm with occasional evening classes.
What We Need:
- Someone with experience and a passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- The right candidate will establish, manage and expand community based, musical activities for consumers and develop staff to ensure that dynamic and engaging activities are provided
- Knowledge of instrumental, vocal and choral instruction preferred
- Strong communication skills when working with both consumers, their families and the outside community
- Strong managerial and interpersonal skills as well as organizational and time management skills
- BA or BS or experience in the field of music and arts
- Valid driver's license (less than 3 suspensions and/or points in the past 3 years).
- Under NJ Executive order #283 must be vaccinated against COVID-19, with booster shots (based on CDC eligibility) and provide proof of vaccination.
