Certification and Qualifications: Note- one or more of the following required.
- NC Teaching License
- Social Worker
- School Psychologist
- Classroom teaching experience-minimum of three years
- Teacher leadership
- Participating in a School Improvement Process
- Implementing academic and behavior interventions
- Tracking and analyzing student data
- Applying problem-solving processes
- Facilitating team-led functional behavior assessment and designing evidence-based intervention plans
- Being an active team member on the MTSS District and School Teams, School Data Teams and Problem Solving Teams to implement the MTSS model which includes RtI and PBIS approaches
- Developing, coaching, implementing, monitoring, and collaborating with other educators in the schoolwide integration of MTSS (i.e. PLTs, Care Coordination, School Improvement, PBIS, etc.) when appropriate
- Supporting teachers in identifying student needs and providing appropriate interventions, as well as, the teachers' ability to analyze and reflect on student learning
- Provide supplemental and/or intensive intervention instruction to student groups
- Developing, documenting, maintaining ongoing academic and behavioral intervention plans throughout the school year
- Managing, analyzing, and utilizing student data (i.e., scoring probes, scheduling data collection, using collected data to drive student support)
- Collaborating with the administration in order to schedule a time to meet with and report progress to parents, school teams and district teams when appropriate
- Participating in on-going, targeted professional development training (i.e. ECATS; CASEL Social-Emotional Learning Competencies, etc.)
