Employment Opportunity: Elementary
POSITION: Moderate Special Education Teacher
Begins with the 2023-2024 school year.

Shrewsbury Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a Moderate Special Education Teacher for the Elementary level, beginning with the 2023-2024 school year. This position will be shared across two elementary schools.

We are interested in candidates who are invested in the achievement, equity, and access of all learners in and beyond the classroom and have experience working in various models of special education (inclusion, co-taught, substantially separate).
Candidates with diverse racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, class, and/or gender background and experiences are strongly encouraged to apply.

Preferred:
  • Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license in Moderate Special Education
  • Strong knowledge of elementary student needs and programming
