Paint Mixer/Tinter

Job Responsibilities

·Clean and replenish tinting machines

·Match invoice with tint labels

·Color match customer requests

·Check the appearance and accuracy of filled orders on a timely basis

·Perform and inspect condition of all products for evidence of dents, dust, or paint blemishes prior to pulling the order.

·Maintain a clean and organized work area

·Restock inventory, bases, colorants

·Understand color matching and adjust color when needed

Requirements

·Must be at least 18 years of age

·Three + years’ experience in retail

·Must be willing to work all scheduled hours and required overtime, Saturdays are required

·Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

·Must be able to tint paint, therefore, must be able to distinguish the difference between colors

·Must be able to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Shift:

• Morning shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

• Long Island City, NY 11101: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
