Job description
Navistar, Inc. is seeking a Journeyman Millwright to join our team at our Springfield Assembly Plant. These are represented positions with excellent benefits including dental, medical and a generous 401k.
Responsibilities:
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment.
- Ensuring machines work properly
- Repairing and replacing defective machine parts
- Assemble and install new machinery
- Maintaining properly the equipment and machinery by identifying and repairing problematic parts and by finding solutions adequately
- Following approved safety regulations at all times
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- At least 8 years of millwright experience or a UAW Journeyman Millwright Card
