Premier Northwest Kids Forest School is excited to be growing its Forest School team!

Training Start Date: May

Monday - Friday 8:40 am - 12:15 pm *location could be Tambark Creek Park 10 minutes away

* Other sub shifts may be available afternoons at Willis Tucker Park, Snohomish/Mill Creek

This is a part-time job (great if you are going to school, want to grow with our company or need a second job)

Pay: $19-$21 an hour is based on experience and education.

Location(s):

We are looking for co- teachers for our Willis Tucker Park location as well as our Tambark Creek Park location.

PNWK offers paid online and in person training.

Duties with Children

• Make sure the children are safe and supported
• Interact with children in a positive, supportive, respectful and open-minded manner
• Maintain visual and auditory supervision of children at all times to ensure their safety
• Use positive, appropriate and supportive language with children

Qualifications

• At least one year experience working with groups of preschool aged children
• Loves working with young children and is energetic and passionate about working one-on-one with children, as well as with groups of children.
• Able to work cooperatively and collaboratively in an all outdoor, forest setting, and open and flexible to new ideas.
• Must have (or be willing to obtain) Current Emergency First Aid and Child CPR certificate
• Vaccinated for COVID 19 including Booster and able to provide vaccination card.
• Reliable transportation
• Be able to lift 25 to 50 lbs.
• Be able to crouch down, bend down and stand outside in varying weather for long periods of time.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
