Title: MIG Welder Entry Level
Status: Hourly
Reports To: Production Supervisor
Location: Tulsa, OK
Primary Responsibility:
The candidate will require a minimum of 1 year experience or attended a trade school for welding mild or structural steel using gas metal arc welding (GMAW/ MIG) and flux core arc welding (FCAW) welding methods. The ability to weld in at least one of the following weld positions is a must (flat, horizontal, and vertical), while experienced in welding fillet or butt weld joints.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Proficient use of basic hand tools such as grinder, cut-off wheel, and magnetic drill.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret a tape measure (test will be required).
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
- Some overhead crane experience is a plus
- Ability to lift and maneuverer metal components a minimum of 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
Flexibility to work in other related departments as required
Education, Experience and Skills Required:
1+ year of on-the-job experience welding using GMAW or FCAW welding methods- Attended a welding trade school and completed program
