Hours: Monday- Friday 6:00AM-4:30PM

Job Description:
Must have a minimum of one year welding and for fitter a Minimum of 3 years. Will be responsible for performing a variety of fabricating and welding processes in accordance with established Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) to achieve specified weld quality per job specification. Support departmental goals (Safety, Quality, and Productivity). Selects equipment and plans layout, fitting, and welding sequences. Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together. Tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding. Experience in short arc, spray arc and/or flux core (MIG/GMAW) and/or FCAW preferred. Sets up equipment and welds parts using arc, gas-shielded arc, arc gauging or gas welding equipment. Inspects work to verify specifications. Keeps work area clean and neat.
Skills Required:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in fitting. Must pass fitter test. 3G welding test - MIG stringer downhill and flux core filler and cap uphill subject to bend test. Prefer welding certificate. Must have a familiarity with the use of jigs & fixtures. Ability to read engineering drawings.
